Audiologist

Amy R. Britt, M.Ed., CCC-A, joined Northeast Georgia ENT in January of 2013. Mrs. Britt received her undergraduate degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology in 1993 from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She received her Masters of Education in Audiology in 1995 from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia.

After receiving her Masters Degree, she has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including private practice ENT offices, medical hospital settings, and the VA hospital in Nashville, TN. While in these settings, she has gained valuable experience working with children and adults for services including diagnostics, hearing aids, vestibular and balance testing, and hearing conservation. While at the Nashville VA hospital, she also worked as a research audiologist monitoring the effects of chemotherapy medications on the hearing of veterans with certain types of cancer.

Mrs. Britt is licensed to practice in the state of Georgia, a certified member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association, and a member of the American Academy of Audiology as well as the Georgia Academy of Audiology. While not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children through a variety of outdoor activities and is an active member of her church.
