Jeanne Barno, MA, CCC-A, joined our practice in August 2009. Ms. Barno received her undergraduate degree in Speech and Hearing Science from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She received her Master of Arts degree in Audiology from the Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio. She was privileged to participate in an externship at the Millridge Hearing Impaired School. While at Millridge, she gained experience in diagnostic testing and fitting hearing aids and FM systems on children with diverse hearing impairments. She received her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology, after completing a Fellowship in Fort Pierce, Florida, working as a consultant audiologist for St. Lucie County Schools.
Ms. Barno has been a member of the American Speech-Language/Hearing Association for twenty-six years and is currently a member of the Georgia Academy of Audiology.
Ms. Barno enjoys working in an ENT setting because of the diversity of patient ages and complaints of hearing and balance that she encounters. Over the years, she has gained knowledge and skills for evaluating hearing and balance problems.
